Noted Tamil cinematographers Vijay Kartik Kannan and Yamini Yagnamurthy have tied the knot. The two have earlier worked together in Halitha Shameem's anthology, Sillu Karuppatti.

Yamini is currently working on Arun Matheswaran's sophomore film, Saani Kaayidham. She was also initially part of the Dhanush-Selvaraghavan film Naane Varuven, but she backed out due to “unavoidable reasons.”

Vijay, on the other hand, is popular for his works in Aadai, and Doctor. He is also the DOP of the upcoming Vignesh Shivan directorial, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
