Udhayanidhi Stalin's Nenjuku Needhi to make its digital premiere, details inside

Helmed by Arunraja Kamaraja, the investigative crime drama deals with the perils of caste and is a remake of the Hindi film Article 15

Actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin's Nenjuku Needhi, which was released in theatres on May 20 and received positive reviews from fans and critics is gearing up for an OTT release on Sony LIV.

Helmed by Arunraja Kamaraja, the investigative crime drama deals with the perils of caste and is a remake of the Hindi film Article 15. The original, directed by Anubhav Sinha, had Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role.  

Announcing the OTT release date, Boney Kapoor, the producer of the film, tweeted, "The most important film of 2022, Udhayanidhi's Nenjuku Needhi is streaming on June 23 only on SonyLIV." 

Nenjuku Needhi also features Tanya Ravichandran and Shivani Rajasekhar in supporting roles. The music for the film was composed by Dhibu Ninan. The movie is Arunraja Kamaraj's second film as a director after directing Kanaa in 2019.
