Nelson-Rajinikanth's Thalaivar 169 titled Jailer

The film has music by Anirudh

The much-awaited Nelson-Rajinikanth's Thalaivar 169 has been titled Jailer. The title look of the film features a blood-stained butcher knife hanging on the backdrop of an old factory. 

Jailer is said to be based on the background of a jail and Rajini will be playing the titular character. In contrast to the rumours, which stated that Rajini will be penning the story and  KS Ravikumar will be taking care of the screenplay, the entire writing part is handled by Nelson. 

Vijay Karthik Kannan will be taking care of the cinematography, Nirmal is the editor and then Anirudh is the film's composer. 

The film is produced by Sun Pictures, the production house that backed Annatthe
