We had earlier reported about Sundar C and Jai teaming up for a film titled Pattampoochi. The makers have now announced that the film will be hitting screens on June 24.

Billed as an investigative thriller, the film is directed by Badri, known for directing Aiyantham Padai, also starring Sundar C, and Thillu Mullu (2013). Pattampoochi also stars Honey Rose Varghese, Imman Annachi, and others.

Earlier, the makers had released a teaser which introduced Jai as a psychopath character. The actor seems to be playing a blood-thirsty serial killer who preys on his victims in barbaric ways.

Pattampoochi has music by Navneeth S, while cinematography is handled by Esakki Krishnasamy.

On the direction front, Sundar C has Coffee with Kadhal, a rom-com starring Jai, Jiiva and Srikanth as the leads.
