The shooting the upcoming Tamil film titled Karumegangal Kalaiginrana has commenced with a ceremony at Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu on Thursday.

The film is helmed by filmmaker-actor Thankar Bachan, who is known for his films like Azhagi and Solla Marandha Kadhai (2002). While much is not known about the story, the film stars an ensemble star cast, including veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja, Yogi Babu, Gautham Menon, among others.

The film’s technical crew consists of GV Prakash on the music and NK Ekambaram who has shot films like Ka Pae Ranasinga, Vinodhaya Sitham, will be serving as the cinematographer.
