Mamta Mohandas joins Thankar Bachan's Karumegangal Kalaiginrana

The shooting of the family drama has been scheduled to happen in Chennai and Rameshwaram

The newest addition to Thankar Bachan's Karumegangal Kalaiginrana is Mamta Mohandas. The film, which was announced a while ago, also stars Bharathi Raja, Yogi Babu and Gautham Vasudev Menon. It went on floors on July 25, in Kumbakonam. 

Mamta has been signed to play a character named Kanmani after auditioning multiple actors. It is said that the actors are playing roles they have never done before. Karumegangal Kalaiginrana is based on a short story by Thankar Bachan.

It may be noted, that the film was previously titled Karumegangal Yaen Kalaiginara, but now it has been changed to Karumegangal Kalaiginrana.

The shooting of the family drama has been scheduled to happen in Chennai and Rameshwaram.
 
Mamta, who was last seen in Jana Gana Mana, also has films like Oomai Vizhigal in the lineup.
