The makers of Viruman are reportedly setting the stage for a grand audio launch at Madurai. Sources report that the audio launch for the Karthi starrer is all set to take place on August 3rd at Rajah Muthiah Mandram in Madurai.

Viruman, directed by Muthiah, debuts director Shankar’s daughter Aditi opposite Karthi in the lead. The film also stars Prakash Raj, Rajkiran, Saranya Ponvannan, Soori and Karunas. The film is produced by Suriya and Jyothika under their 2D entertainment banner.

Viruman’s soundtrack is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the rights for which are already bought by Sony Music India.

Viruman’s story is said to be about a father-son relationship constructed around Muthiah’s signature rural action drama setting. The filming, which ended around December of last year, was done in and around Madurai and Theni. Viruman was earlier confirmed for a theatrical release on August 31. However, current reports suggest that the crew might prepone the release date to August 11
