The long-delayed Vaibhav-starrer Katteri has finally got its release date. The makers have announced that it will be hitting screens on August 5.

Also starring Sonam Bajwa, Aathmika, Karunakaran, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the film is directed by Deekay of Kavalai Vendam and Yamirukka Bayamaey fame.

Katteri, which has been in the making for a couple of years, was supposed to release in April 2020. But it got pushed due to the pandemic. Meanwhile, there were also reports about the film getting released directly on Zee5 but it got dismissed later.

Katteri has music by Prasad SN and cinematography by Vignesh Vasu. Praveen KL is the editor. KE Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green is presenting the film.
