Kalagathalaivan is the title of actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin’s upcoming film with director Magizh Thirumeni, the makers revealed while releasing the motion poster of the film on social media on Monday.

The poster shows a silhouette of a man, as it gets filled with a collage of the cityscape and ghettos on the other side. As the blue silhouette turns red, montages of Udhayanidhi appears. The poster is complemented with fast-paced music.

The film marks the maiden collaboration of Magizh Thirumeni with Udhayanidhi. The film is produced by the latter's home banner Red Giant Movies. Nidhhi Agerwal plays the female lead. The music will be composed by Arrol Corelli and Srikanth Deva.

Meanwhile, Udhayanidhi is currently working on Maamannan, directed by Mari Selvaraj. The film also stars Fahadh Faasil, Keerthy Suresh, and Vadivelu among others.
