Vattam, the upcoming Tamil film starring Sibi Sathyaraj in the lead role, will premiere on the Disney+Hotstar OTT platform.

Directed by Kamalakannan, the film is produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures. The film is written by Srinivas Kavinayam, who co-wrote the story of Soodhu Kavvum with Nalan Kumarasamy.

According to the director, Vattam is an edge-of-the-seat thriller that revolves around a bunch of characters who experience a series of turbulent events in 24 hours and how it changes their lives and perception of life forever.

Regarding the film, Sibi Sathyaraj says, "Vattam is an important film in my career as it marks my first association with the prestigious Dream Warrior Pictures. I have always admired SR Prabhu and SR Prakash for their passion for cinema and their constant quest for selecting unique content and delivering the same in top-notch quality.”

Noting that he plays Mano, a happy-go-lucky chap who does not have big ambitions but loves to live the moment, Sibi Sathyaraj said that Vattam has fulfilled his long-standing desire of playing a simple boy-next-door character.

"Although I am the protagonist, the movie gives equal importance to the other characters, especially the ones played by Andrea Jeremiah and Athulya Ravi," he added.
