After the news about actor-filmmaker, Pratap Pothen's demise broke, many celebrities from the film fraternity expressed their condolences. 

The 70-year-old national award-winning filmmaker passed away on Friday morning at his residence in Chennai. According to reports, his death is suspected to be due to natural health reasons. However, the Kilpaul police will probe further. 

Actors including Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Suhasini Maniratnam, Suresh Gopi and Khushbu, among several others, took to their social media handles to express their condolences to the late artist.
