Pisasu 2, the upcoming horror film starring Andrea Jeremiah in the lead role, will release on August 31.

The film is a sequel to Mysskin's 2014 horror film, Pisasu. Directed by Mysskin, the film has Vijay Sethupathi in a cameo role. He is said to be playing a doctor's role in the film.

Pisasu 2 also stars Psycho fame Rajkumar Pitchumani, Poorna, Namita Krishnamurthy and Santhosh Pratap in prominent roles. The film has music by Karthik Raja and is produced by T Muruganantham under the banner of Rockfort Entertainment.

Shot primarily in Tamil, Pisasu 2 will be dubbed and released in three languages — Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Meanwhile, Andrea who was last seen in Aranmanai 3, has a slew of projects in the pipeline including, Anel Meley Pani Thuli, Vattam, Pisaasu 2, Kaa and Maaligai, among several others.
