RJ Balaji's comedy entertainer Veetla Vishesham, which was released in theatres on June 17, now has an OTT release date. The film is set to release on the platform Zee5 on July 15. 

Announcing the same on their Twitter handle, Zee5 said, "Veetla Vishesham is premiering on Zee5 Premium this July 15th. Launching the trailer today at 5 pm on Zee5, stay tuned."

Directed by RJ Balaji and NJ Saravanan, the film has the former playing the lead role along with Aparna Balamurali, Urvashi, Sathyaraj, and KPAC Lalitha in prominent roles.

The film is about a middle-aged couple who gets pregnant, much to the disappointment of their sons. Urvashi and Sathyaraj play the couple while RJ Balaji essays the part of their elder son. Aparna Balamurali is paired with him. Veetla Vishesham is the Tamil remake of the 2018 Bollywood film Badhaai Ho which stars Ayshmann Khurrana and Neena Gupta with Gajraj Rao, Surekha Sikri, Shardul Rana and Sanya Malhotra in supporting roles.

Veetla Vishesham has Karthik Muthukumar as the cinematographer and Girishh Gopalakrishnan as the music director. Selva RK is the editor. The film is backed by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects in association with Romeo Pictures.
