Vishal's Veerame Vaagai Soodum to release in February?

The release of Vishal-starrer Veerame Vaagai Soodum has been postponed. The film, which was supposed to hit screens on Wednesday for Republic Day, was postponed without any reasons being assigned or any alternative dates being announced.

A section of media is reporting that the makers are eyeing to release the film on February 4 if the pandemic-induced restrictions and the Sunday lockdown are lifted. An official announcement regarding the same is awaited.

Directed by Thu Pa Saravanan, Veerame Vaagai Soodum is billed as an action-packed entertainer in which Vishal plays a cop. Dimple Hayathi is paired with him.

Baburaj, Yogi Babu, Marimuthu, Thulasi, Kavitha Bharathi, RNR Manohar, Mariam George, and Maha Gandhi will be seen in supporting roles. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Kavin Raj.

Veerame Vaagai Soodum is also set to be released in Telugu as Saamanyudu.
