Michael Madana Kama Rajan-fame Praveen Kumar Sobti passes away at 74

His last on-screen appearance was in 2013 for the film Mahabharat Aur Barbareek, where he once again played Bheem

Sportsman-actor Praveen Kumar Sobti, who is famous for starring in films like Jeetendra's Raksha and Amitabh Bachchan's Shahenshah passed away yesterday due to cardiac arrest. 

Praveen Kumar gained nationwide recognition by playing Bheem in BR Chopra's mythological tele serial Mahabharata. His character in his only Tamil film Michael Madana Kama Rajan was named Bheem Boy, after his famous Mahabharata role. The Singeetam Srinivasa Rao directorial starred Kamal Haasan in four roles and co-starred Urvasi, Rupini and Khushbu.

Before acting in films, he was a star hammer and discus thrower, who participated in Asian Games and Olympics. 

His last on-screen appearance was in 2013 for the film Mahabharat Aur Barbareek, where he once again played Bheem.
