The Vishnu Vishal-Aishwarya Lekshmi starrer Gatta Kusthi, which hit screens on December 2, is gearing up for its digital premiere. Netflix has bagged the streaming rights and the film will be out on the platform on January 1.

Directed by Chella Ayyavu, Gatta Kusthi is centered around the events that occur after Veera, a male chauvinist, marries Keerthy, a wrestling champion, without knowing about her real self. While the film did decently well at the box office, Aishwarya Lekshmi's performance in it was widely appreciated. Karunas, Munishkanth, Kaali Venkat, Redin Kingsley, Hareesh Peradi, Sreeja Ravi, and many others starred in the film.

Gatta Kusthi, which had music by Justin Prabhakaran, is backed by Vishnu Vishal Studioz in association with Telugu actor Ravi Teja's RT Teamworks banners respectively. The film was also released in Telugu as Matti Kusthi.
