After Ranjithamey and Thee Thalapathy, the makers of Vijay’s Varisu, is gearing up for the release of the film’s third single Soul Of Varisu. The song will release on Tuesday, the makers informed.

Starring Vijay in the lead role, Varisu is set to release in theatres for Pongal 2023. Soul Of Varisu will be voiced by KS Chithra, with lyrics by Vivek. Varisu's album is composed by S Thaman.

Varisu is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and has Rashmika Mandanna play the female lead. Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Khushbu, Jayasudha, Yogi Babu, Srikanth, Shaam and Sangeetha are also part of the cast. The film will release in Telugu as Varasudu. Varisu is backed by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The film is expected to be a family entertainer, with Vijay essaying the role of an entrepreneur's son.

The film will mark the first time Vijay is collaborating with the director. Varisu is set to share the box office, with Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu.
