Ariyippu - Netflix (December 16)

Directed by Mahesh Narayanan, the Malayalam film stars Kunchacko Boban and Divya Prabha. Ariyippu follows the story of an immigrant couple from Kerala working in a medical gloves factory in North India.

Govinda Naam Mera -Hotstar (December 16)

The film starring Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar, is written and directed by Shashank Khaitan. As per the film's synopsis, it is “the story of Govinda Waghmare, who is a small-time junior background dancer. Life is not going great for this boy next door as he owns a huge amount of money in debt and his house is at stake. To make matters worse, his wife Gauri (Bhumi) is having an affair and also physically abuses him. The only silver lining in Govinda's life is his girlfriend Suku (Kiara Advani), with whom he loves to dance in the Mumbai rains.”

Half Pants Full Pants - Prime Video (December 16)

Directed by VK Prakash, the eight-episode series centres on childhood and stars child actors Ashwanth Ashokkumar and Kartik Vijan with Ashish Vidyarthi and Sonali Kulkarni.

The Recruit -Netflix (December 16)

Created by Alexi Hawley, the drama series Noah Centineo, Laura Haddock and Aarti Mann. The story revolves around a rookie lawyer at the CIA who stumbles headlong into the dangerous world of international espionage when a former asset threatens to expose agency secrets.

Far From Home- Netflix (December 16)

Created by Chinaza Onuzo and Dami Elebe, the drama stars Funke Akindele-Bello, Richard Mofe-Damijo and Mike Afolarin. The series follows a financially struggling teen who finds himself in the world of luxury after a prestigious scholarship sends him to an exclusive school for the one per cent.

Code Name: Tiranga- Netflix (December 16)

Directed by Parineeti Chopra and singer Harrdy Sandhu, the film has Parineeti playing a RAW agent in the espionage action thriller. The film will tell the story of a spy on a mission for her nation in a race against time where sacrifice is her only choice.

Kalaga Thalaivan- Netflix (December 16)

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film stars Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead role. According to a Cinema Express review, "Kalaga Thalaivan is divided into chapters that hop between timelines and locations. Even if we stripped away the chapters and the non-linear narrative, the film would still serve as a clever cat-and-mouse game with the antagonist here being as witty and relentless as the protagonist."
