Udhayanidhi Stalin's Kalaga Thalaivan is set for its digital release on Netflix on December 16. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film hit screens on 18 November and opened to a decent response.

An action-thriller, Kalaga Thalaivan is set in a corporate setup where Udhayanidhi Stalin plays Thirumaaran, who works in a heavy vehicles manufacturing company while also secretly doubling up as a whistleblower. The narrative turns into a gripping thriller when the company appoints a private investigator to track him down. The role was played by Arav, while Nidhhi Agerwal essayed the female lead. It also featured Kalaiyarasan, Anupama Kumar and RJ Vigneshkanth.

Meanwhile, Udhayanidhi Stalin was sworn in as state minister on Wednesday. Following the announcement, he announced that his upcoming film with Mari Selvaraj, Maamannan, will be the last project in his cinema career. He also has Mu Muran's Kannai Nambathey, which is awaiting release.
