We earlier reported that Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, the musician turned actor, is starring in the upcoming film directed by Karthik Venugopalan.

The latest update from the film is that veteran actor Thiagarajan, the father of actor Prashanth, is part of the film. Announcing this, the makers shared a video of Thiagarajan joining the film sets.

Tentatively titled HHT7, the film also stars Anikha Surendran and Munishkanth. It is directed by Karthik, a YouTuber-turned-filmmaker, who made his debut with Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja (NNOR). Set in the school backdrop, Adhi is said to play a physical education teacher named Kanagavel in the upcoming film.

In an earlier conversation with us, speaking about HHT7, Karthik said, "It will be a fun-filled entertainer and present Adhi in a new avatar. Unlike the NNOR, which predominantly starred YouTubers, this film will have famous actors from the industry and we have planned to reveal them one by one in the upcoming weeks."

Besides acting, Adhi will also be composing music for the film. The technical crew includes cinematographer Madhesh Manickam, editor Gk Prasanna and Production Designer A Amaran. The film is produced by Ishari Ganesh under the Vels Film International banner. Meanwhile, it may be noted that Adhi, was last seen in Anbarivu and has another project titled Veeran, directed by ARK Saravanan.
