Ameer’s look in the upcoming film Uyir Thamizhukku has been released online. Billed as a political drama, the first look poster had Ameer sporting the look of a politician. The poster was released by directors Mysskin and Vetrimaaran along with actors Arya and Soori, through their respective social media handles. The makers of the film released the poster to mark their leading star Ameer’s birthday

Uyir Thamizhukku is directed by Adham Bava who is best known for producing the 2021 film Anti Indian. The film is produced by Suresh Kamatchi under his banner V House Creations, who had earlier produced the Venkat Prabhu-Silambarasan TR film Maanadu. 

The music for the film is composed by veteran composer Vidyasagar who is known for composing hit songs for popular films like Ghilli, Chandramukhi, Dhool, Anbe Sivam, and Mozhi.

Director-turned-actor Ameer was last seen in a pivotal role in the 2018 film Vada Chennai. The film has cinematography by Devaraj while editing is handled by Ashok Charles, and lyrics by Pa Vijay. Bala Murali Varman and Ajay Bala have penned the dialogues for the film.
