Silambarasan TR has sung the second single for Vijay’s Varisu

It has officially been confirmed that Silambarasan TR has sung the second single for Vijay's upcoming film Varisu. The song titled Thee Thalapathy is composed by Thaman who confirmed the news about Simbu lending the voice for the song through a tweet. The caption for the tweet reads, “Naalikkuuuu innerrathukkuuuu #TheeThalapathy,” he also added a hashtag that referenced Simbu: #AtmanforNanban.

The second single, Thee Thalapathy, is all set to release by 4 pm tomorrow. The first single from Vairsu titled Ranjithame was released a month ago, it featured vocals by actor Vijay along with singer MM Manasi.

Billed as a family entertainer, Varisu is directed by Telugu filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally. Apart from Vijay in the lead role and Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead, the cast of the film also includes Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Khushbu, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha, and Samyuktha. The film is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateshwara Creations banner.

Varisu is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on 12 January 2023
