Yuvan Shankar Raja wraps up re-recording of Viruman

The film is set to hit the big screens on August 12

Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is expecting the release of the upcoming Tamil film Viruman, announced that the film's re-recording has been completed.

"Wrapped & delivered #Viruman Re-recording. Catch the movie in theaters with family and friends from 12th Aug. Bonus tracks coming your way!" the composer tweeted on Monday.

Recently, the audio and trailer launch event of the film took place in Madurai. The film stars Karthi in the lead role, alongside Aditi Shankar, who is making her debut.

Directed by Muthaiya, the film is set to hit the big screens on August 12. The film has Prakash Raj as Karthi's father and Soori, Raj Kiran, Singampuli, Robo Shankar, Karunas, Manoj Bharathi, RK Suresh, Saranya Ponvannan, and Vadivukkarasi, among several others in pivotal roles.

Viruman is produced by Suriya, Jyotika's banner 2D Entertainment.
