Update on Amala Akkineni-Sharwanand's film Kanam to be out tomorrow

It is directed by debutant Shree Karthik and bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures

An update regarding Kanam, the upcoming film starring Sharwanand and Amala Akkineni will be made on Tuesday, the makers announced.

Kanam is directed by debutant Shree Karthik and bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures.

The upcoming film, which is Tamil-Telugu bilingual, is expected to be a sci-fi drama based on a mother-son relationship. Kanam will also have influences of time travel concept and will portray Amala and Sharwanand as mother and son. The film will also feature actors Ritu Varma, Nasser, Ramesh Thilak and Sathish, Vennela Kishore, among others.

The technical crew consists of cinematographer Sujith Sarang, with Jakes Bejoy on the music. Sreejith Sarang is the editor.

Kanam marks Amala’s comeback to acting since Karpoora Mullai in 1991.
