The trailer for the upcoming Tamil film Jiivi 2 starring Vetri in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media on Friday.

The film is set to premiere directly on Aha Tamil. The release date is yet to be announced.

The nearly two-minute trailer shows glimpses of the film that is expected to be a thriller, with Vetri delivering a monologue of sorts and connecting a crime to fate.

Jiivi 2, the second instalment to the 2019 crime drama, is being produced by Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions. VJ Gopinath, who directed the original is helming the sequel too. While Babu Tamizh penned the screenplay of the first part, Gopinath himself has written the script of this film.

With cinematography by Praveen Kumar, Jiivi 2 has music and editing by KS Sundaramurthy and Praveen KL, respectively.
