Actor Vijay Sethupathi is reportedly joining hands with director H Vinoth for his upcoming film. H Vinoth, who is currently busy making Ajith’s next titled AK61, will start working on the VJS film after he wraps up Ajith's film. Lately, actor Vijay Sethupathi has been the popular choice to play the antagonist in big-budget star films. He played the antagonist for Rajini in Petta, followed by Vijay’s Master and very recently Kamal’s Vikram. After his brief stint as the 'bad guy,' the actor is now returning to play the protagonist with H Vinoth’s untitled film.

Even though not much is currently known about the project, reports suggest that the story could fall under the horror drama genre. The actor had reportedly given his nod after he read the script and liked it. Fans are particularly excited by this speculation since the actor got his big break with Karthik Subburaj’s horror drama Pizza back in 2012.

H Vinoth, who just released Valimai with Ajith in the lead, is working with the actor again for a project titled AK61. The film marks his third collaboration with Ajith after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai. Vijay Sethupathi is currently gearing up to release his first film with director Vetrimaaran titled Viduthalai, which has actor/comedian Soori in the lead. Sources state that director H Vinoth had also approached Kamal Hassan for a future project.
