We had previously reported that SJ Suryah is making his foray into the world of OTT with a web series that will be helmed by Kolaigaran-director Andrew Louis. It's now known that the series is titled Vadhandhi: The fable of Velonie and will stream on Amazon Prime Video. The series was one among 40 other titles that were announced earlier today at the OTT platform's event Prime Video Presents India.

The series will also mark actor Laila's OTT debut. The Dheena-actor will soon be making her comeback to Tamil cinema with Karthi's Sardar. The rest of the cast of Vadhandhi includes Nasser and Sanjana.

According to the makers, the series will be, " a dramatic noir thriller about the murder of a beautiful young girl, seen from the Rashomon-esque perspectives of an unrelenting obsessed cop, a novelist captivated by her grace and an opportunistic news editor." Written by Andrew, the series has directors Pushkar and Gayatri as the creative producers.

Meanwhile, Suryah has films like Radha Mohan's Bommai, the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Don, and Kadamaiyai Sei in different stages of production.
