Actor Sathish's second film as lead has been titled Sattam En Kaiyil. The film will be directed by Chachi, who previously directed Sixer, which also starred Sathish in a comical role. It may be noted that Chachi is the brother in law of Sathish. 

The first look poster of Sattam En Kaiyil features an intense Sathish with a bloodied face. Interestingly, the title has been borrowed from Kamal Haasan's 1978 hit film, directed by TN Balu. 

Contrary to Sixer, Sattam En Kaiyil is expected to be a serious film. Co-starring Vidya Pradeep, Ajay Raj, Pavel Navageethan, Riythvika and Venba, this film has music scored by Jones Rupert and cinematography by PG Muthiah.

Notably, Sathish previously played a role with grey shades in Vathikuchi.
