Selvaraghavan's Naane Varuven starring Dhanush is in the last leg of the shoot in Ooty. Recent reports state that actor Prabhu has joined the film and will be playing an important role.

Prabhu has previously worked with Dhanush in Aishwarya Rajinikanth's 3, but this is his first collaboration with Selvaraghavan. 

Starring Indhuja Ravichandran and Elli AvrRam as the female leads, Naane Varuven has Dhanush playing dual roles. Apart from directing Dhanush after 11 years,  Selvaraghavan will also be playing a crucial role in the film. 

Naane Varuven has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Om Prakash. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu.

Apart from this film, Prabhu has Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Ponniyin Selvan and Laththi, in various stages of production.
