Soorayaatam, the first single from Karthik Subbaraj's Mahaan, will be launched on 22nd September. Starring Vikram, Dhruv Vikram, Simran, Simha and Vani Bhojan in the lead, the film has music by Santhosh Narayanan. 

The film was last in the news, when the filmmakers revealed the first look of Dhruv Vikram. His character reveal had confirmed that Vikram and Dhruv are playing a father-son on screen too. 

Mahaan has cinematography by Jagame Thanthiram-fame Shreyas Krishna and editing by Karthik's regular Vivek Harshan. 

Dhruv Vikram will be next teaming up with Mari Selvaraj for a biopic. Vikram, meanwhile, is awaiting the release of Cobra, following which he will be seen in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. He is also reportedly in talks with Pa Ranjith for a new film.

Apart from this film, Santhosh Narayanan has Andhagan and Vadivelu-Suraj project in the lineup.
