It was announced earlier today that Karthi's film with Muthaiya has been titled Viruman. The latest development related to the project is that Aditi, the daughter of filmmaker Shankar, will be making her acting debut with the film.

The makers of the film announced the news by releasing the actor's first look from the film. While sharing the picture Suriya, who is bankrolling the project, tweeted, "A very warm welcome to Aditi Shankar! You are going to win everyone’s heart! God bless!"

Responding to the tweet, filmmaker Shankar has thanked producers Suriya, Jyothika, and director Muthaiya for launching the daughter.

Viruman marks the second collaboration between Karthi and Muthaiya after the 2015 release, Komban.
