In a sudden turn of events, music composer SS Thaman has been replaced by Hiphop Tamizha for Akhil Akkineni's upcoming espionage-thriller Agent.

Word is that the timings of Thaman, who is currently busy with a handful of films including Bheemla Nayak, RC 15, Godfather and SSMB 28 among others, didn't gel with the schedules of Agent.

"The makers felt Thaman is neglecting their film. Being a thorough professional, the composer has decided to step out as his dates are clashing with Akhil's film. Hiphop Tamizha has already started composing the soundtrack of the film," says a source close to the development.

The Surender Reddy directorial marks the debut of Sakshi Vaidya in Telugu cinema. The film went on floors in July and the team will soon leave for Krishnapatnam Port, Nellore, to film crucial action sequences on Akhil and others. "The film will also be shot in multiple foreign locations including London," the source adds.

Vakkantham Vamsi, who earlier provided stories for films like Kick, Oosaravelli, Race Gurram and Kick 2, is on board as the story writer for Agent. Akhil has reportedly gone for a makeover and will be seen in a bulked-up avatar in the film.

Agent is being bankrolled by AK Entertainments in association with Surender 2 Cinema.
