Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies acquires distribution rights of Annaatthe

Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies, known for making films like 7aum Arivu and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, has acquired the distribution rights of Rajinikanth's Annaatthe.

The production house took to Twitter to announce the collaboration with Sun Pictures, which has produced the film. The tweet read, "We're extremely proud to associate with Sun Pictures for the Tamil Nadu theatrical distribution of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe. Get ready for the biggest Diwali celebrations!"

Red Giant Movies has been missing from action for some time now. The production house last bankrolled Udhayanidhi Stalin's Kanne Kalaimaanae in 2019 and last distributed Sundar C's Aranmanai 3.

Directed by Siva, Annaatthe has an ensemble cast comprising Nayanthara, Meena, Khushbu, Jagapati Babu, Keerthy Suresh, and Soori in prominent roles. The film has music by D Imman.
