Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor has opened to positive reviews from both the critics and the common audience.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is an entertaining black comedy powered by a solid star cast.

Going by the initial response, Doctor is getting the audience back to theatres in large numbers, which has pleased the industry insiders.

Director Shankar has tweeted congratulating Sivakarthikeyan and Doctor team for the film's success. He also added that he is happy to see the theatrical experience back.

Similarly, other celebs like Ajay Gnanamuthu, SR Prabhu, and Archana Kalpathi have also heaped praise on Doctor team through their Twitter handles.

Doctor also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Redin Kingsley, Yogi Babu, Vinay Rai, Deepa Shankar, Archana, Milind Soman, and Ilavarasu.

The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Vijay Kartik Kannan.
