The shoot of Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam has been reportedly completed within an impressive period of just 50 days. The Mithran Jawahar directorial stars Nithya Menen, Raashii Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female leads. 

The director-actor duo had previously collaborated for Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty and Uthamaputhiran. Interestingly Anirudh has joined with Dhanush after a short break for Thiruchitrambalam. 

The film has cinematography by Om Prakash and editing by Prasanna GK. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film, which stars Bharathiraja in an important role, is said to be a family drama. 

Apart from this film, Dhanush has multiple films like Maaran, The Grey Man and Atrangi Re in various stages of productions.
