Arya's Magamuni competing in nine categories in Film Fest International (FFI)

Magamuni, directed by Santhakumar, is nominated for nine awards including Outstanding Actor in Foreign Langauge

Magamuni, directed by Santhakumar, which was released in 2019, is competing in nine categories in Film Fest International (FFI), England. The film's director took to Twitter to share the news with the fans.

Magamuni (Great Sage)” is nominated for 9 Award categories in the "Film fest International", ENGLAND. Screening and the live festival event will be held from 9th to 12th of November in the UK. Congrats," he wrote. 

The film is nominated in categories including Outstanding actor in a foreign language film (Arya), Outstanding actress in a foreign language film (Indhuja Ravichandran), Best Supporting Actress in a foreign language film (Mahima Nambiar), Best Original Score (Thaman), Best Cinematography in a foreign language film (Arun Bathmanabhan), Best Editing of a foreign language film (Sabu Joseph), Best Original Screenplay of foreign language film (Santhakumar), Jury award (Santhakumar) and Best foreign language feature film (Magamuni). 

The film follows the story of estranged twins, who are separated at birth. One guy turns out to be a contract killer, while the other becomes a sage.
