Buzz is that Vignesh Shivan's Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal is gearing up for a direct OTT release. Though the makers are yet to confirm, it is speculated that the film will be premiering on Disney + Hostar in November as a Deepavali special.

Billed as a triangular love story, the film has Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha Akkineni as the leads.

Anirudh Ravichander is composing music for this film. The makers have already released a couple of songs and both have been well received.

Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal has cinematography by Vijay Kartik Kannan of Aadai fame and edits done by Sreekar Prasad.

The film is bankrolled by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studios, in association with Vignesh Shivan's home banner, Rowdy Pictures.
