It was confirmed today that Suriya's Etharkkum Thunindhavan​ will be hitting the screen on February 4, next year. From the release date announcement poster, it has been found that Sivakarthikeyan has penned a song for the film. 

Notably, Sivakarthikeyan played the lead in Etharkkum Thunindhavan director Pandiraj's previous film Namma Veetu Pillai and 2012's Marina. Apart from his own films, the actor has previously penned songs for films like Adithya Varma, Gurkha and Kolamavu Kokila.

Priyanka Arul Mohan, who recently made a blockbuster debut in Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor, is paired with Suriya in the film.

Etharkkum Thunindhavan also stars Sathyaraj, Jayaprakash, Saranya Ponvannan, Devadarshini and Ilavarasu in pivotal roles. The film has music by D Imman and cinematography by R Rathnavelu.

Meanwhile, Suriya, who recently starred in the Amazon Prime Video film, Jai Bhim, is also starring in Vetri Maaran's Vaadi Vaasal, and Bala's yet-to-be-titled project.
