The release of Prabhudheva's long-delayed Thael has once again been postponed. The film was supposed to hit screens this Friday (December 10) but the makers have pushed it to a further date.

KE Gnanvelraja's Studio Green, the production house that has backed the action thriller, said in a statement that the film's release has been postponed because of "unforeseen situations".

Thael directed by Harikumar has Prabhudheva and Samyuktha Hegde as the leads. Yogi Babu and Easwari Rao are also part of the cast.

The film has music by C Sathya and cinematography by Vignesh Vasu. It has been edited by National Award winner KL Praveen, who recently won a lot of praise for his work in Maanaadu.

Prabhudheva, who was last seen in Pon Manickavel, also has Poikkal Kuthirai and Bagheera in different stages of production.
