Samuthirakani's upcoming film, Writer, is set to hit the screens on December 24. Backed by Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions, Writer is helmed by debut director Franklin Jacob.
The police procedural revolves around an honest writer in a corrupt environment. Writer also stars Hari Krishnan and Maheshwari in pivotal roles.
With cinematography and editing by Pratheep Kaliraja and Manigandan Sivakumar, respectively, Writer is jointly produced by Neelam Productions, Golden Ratio Films, Little Red Car Films, and Jetty Productions.
Apart from this film, Samuthirakani has Yaanai, RRR, Andhagan and Don in various stages of production.
