Samuthirakani replaces Prakash Raj in Arun Vijay-Hari film

The production house of the film Drumsticks Productions has announced that Prakash Raj had to opt-out of the film due to his recent shoulder injury

Samuthirakani has replaced Prakash Raj in the upcoming Arun Vijay's film, directed by Hari. The latter who is a regular in the director's projects was signed to play the lead's brother. 

The production house of the film Drumsticks Productions has announced that Prakash Raj had to opt-out of the film due to his recent shoulder injury. It is also learned that the actor has returned his advance and promised to work with Hari in his next film. 

The team has decided to cast Samuthirakani as he would fit the character. The shoot is currently happening in Palani, after finishing the schedules in Chennai, Karaikudi and Tutikudi. 

Starring Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, the film has Yogi Babu, Radikaa, KGF Ram, Rajesh and Ammu Abhirami. The film has music by GV Prakash and cinematography by Gopinath. 

Apart from this film, Samuthirakani will be next seen in Vijay's Thalaivii, playing RM Veerappan. He also has RRR, Andhagan and Don in various stages of production.
