The trailer of Mohan G's Rudra Thandavam has been unveiled. The film has Rishi Richard — marking his third collaboration with the filmmaker — playing a police officer named Rudra Prabhakaran who is labeled a casteist.

Akin to Mohan G's previous outing, Draupathi, which was widely discussed for its controversial take on the caste system, the trailer of Rudhra Thandavam — replete with dialogues taking a dig at a particular community — is indicative of another politically charged outing.

The film also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon in a pivotal role and he gets ample space to make his presence felt in the trailer. Likewise, Radharavi and Thambi Ramaiah will also be appearing in supporting roles, with the former mouthing dialogues in the trailer that paint a picture of the film's standpoint.

Other cast members include Dharsha Gupta, Malavika Avinash, Marimuthu, Y Gee Mahendran, and Mano Bala, to name a few. Rudra Thandavam has music by Jubin and cinematography by Farook J. Mohan has also scripted the film.

Produced by GM Film Corporation in association with 7G Films, the makers are yet to announce the release date.
