Nalini Mohan, the wife of the late playwright-screenwriter-actor Crazy Mohan, passed away on Tuesday.

This news was announced on social media by actor-politician Kamal Haasan, a long-time collaborator of Crazy Mohan. Sharing a personal message, Kamal Haasan wrote, "Mrs Nalini Crazy Mohan, another sister-in-law I had, is no more. I express my condolences to all the members of the family, who started off as friends, but have now become  my own family."

Other members of the film fraternity, and fans of the late writer who passed away in 2019, continue to express their solidarity with the family on social media. 

Nalini is survived by her two sons.
