I dedicate this award to my mother: Editor Naveen Nooli on winning National Award

Naveen Nooli, the editor of Jersey, is delighted about winning the National Award for Best Film Editing.

Talking to Cinema Express, an elated Naveen said, "I was surprised when I was told that I had won the National Award. I wasn't expecting it. It has come as a pleasant surprise amidst the pandemic. This is the happiest moment of my life. I dedicate this award to my mother Vijaya for supporting me and working tirelessly to ensure my future."

Naveen made his debut as a film editor with Login. He then went on to work on several successful films, such as Naannaku Prematho, Rangasthalam, Ala Vaikuntapuramlo, and Uppena.

Jersey, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, and starring Nani and Shraddha Srinath, also won the Best Telugu Film award. Gowtham is currently helming the film's Hindi remake, starring Shahid Kapoor.

Meanwhile, Naveen has numerous films such as Acharya, Thank You, and Shyam Singa Roy, among others, in various stages of production.
