With the #MeToo movement growing day by day, the latest to get hit by allegations in Kollywood is director Susi Ganesan, who has made films such as Five Star, Virumbugiren, Thiruttu Payale, Kanthaswamy and Thiruttu Payale 2

Leena Manimekalai, an independent filmmaker known for her extensive documentary work, has called out director Susi Ganesan for sexual harassment. Recounting her first experience in 2005, she put up a Facebook post detailing her experiences last year.

With the movement gathering steam, Leena said "she has gathered courage to write more of her experiences" and named Susi as the television anchor about whom she had shared the previous post anonymously.

Susi Ganesan called these allegations as "disgusting lies" and wrote this refutal.
