Both Rajinikanth's Petta and Ajith's Viswasam are hitting the screens on Pongal and the competition is getting intense with every passing day. And the competition also extends to social media, where it has been raining updates from both the teams.

While the entire album of Petta, composed by Anirudh is out and has been appreciated from all quarters, the Viswasam team, though slow to start off the starting blocks, came all guns blazing with their first single, Adchi Thooku, which released a few days back and has already clocked an impressive 8.8 million views.

The Viswasam team has followed the massy number composed and sung by D Imman, which showcases a 'Madurakaaran' Ajith in his salt-and-pepper avatar, with the second single, Vettikattu, which released today. The second single features a much younger looking Ajith in a peppy song sung by Shankar Mahadevan, who incidentally won his first National Award for singing Sandhana Thendralai, from the Rajiv Menon-directorial Kandukondain Kandukondain, starring Ajith.

Here's the second single from Viswasam:
