Akhil Akkineni married entrepreneur and artist Zainab Ravdjee on Friday in an intimate ceremony held at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. The event was attended by close family and friends, along with several prominent figures from the Telugu film industry.

Akhil was joined by his parents, Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, and his brother, Naga Chaitanya. The traditional Telugu-style wedding saw Akhil dressed in a white kurta and dhoti, while Zainab wore an ivory silk saree paired with diamond jewellery. The couple had earlier announced their engagement in November 2024.

The guest list included actors Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan with wife Upasana, Sobhita Dhulipala, director Prashanth Neel, and Daggubati Venkatesh. A lively baraat ceremony preceded the wedding, with Naga Chaitanya dancing alongside guests and Nagarjuna also seen celebrating.

Annapurna Studios, founded by Akhil’s grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao, has long held emotional value for the family. It also served as the venue for Naga Chaitanya’s wedding.

Zainab Ravdjee, daughter of Hyderabad-based industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee, is a perfume creator and artist who has exhibited her work in India, Dubai, and London.

Akhil, who was last seen in Agent and Most Eligible Bachelor, is shooting his next titled Lenin, directed by Murali Kishore Abburu. The film also stars Sreeleela and recently got a title glimpse.
