Trailer of M Night Shyamalan's Old out

CE Features

The trailer of M Night Shayalaman's upcoming psychological thriller Old is out.

Inspired by the graphic novel Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Levy and Frederik Peeters, the film follows a family on a vacation to a secluded beach, where they are shocked to discover that all of the family members—from kids to grownups—are aging rapidly in a span of few hours.

Youngsters start developing wrinkles as their bodies age uncontrollably, and in the most shocking part of the trailer, an unseen entity is shown lunging towards a couple. The 2-minute 45-second trailer exudes a strong sense of terror, promising an edge-of-the-seat thriller.

In addition to directing the film, Shyamalan has written the screenplay and co-produced the film with Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock.

The film features Gael García Bernal, Vicky Krieps, Rufus Sewell, Ken Leung, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Abbey Lee, Aaron Pierre, and Alex Wolff as the helpless members of a family thrown into a twisted conundrum.

Distributed by Universal Pictures, Old is scheduled to release on July 23, 2021.
