The upcoming Telugu film Ek Mini Katha will skip theatres to directly release on Amazon Prime Video, the streaming giant announced. The film stars Santosh Shoban, who earlier appeared in films like Thanu Nenu and Paper Boy in the lead role.

The trailer, which released today, promotes the film as the 'First ever bold family entertainer'. Written by Merlapaka Gandhi, best-known for directing comedies like Venkatadri Express, Express Raja, and Krishnarjuna Yuddham, the film marks his erstwhile associate, Karthik Rapolu's directorial debut. Ek Mini Katha is produced by UV Concepts, in association with Mango Mass Media.

The film, which also features Kavya Thapar, Shraddha Das, Brahmaji, Sudharshan, and Sapthagiri, will premiere on the streaming platform on May 27.
