Veteran comedy actor Janagaraj has joined Twitter, on the occasion of his birthday today. The actor's first tweet read, 


The actor, who was last seen in 2019's Dha Dha 87, alongside Chaaruhasan, has acted in over 200 hundred films in Tamil. Making his onscreen debut with Kizhake Pogum Rail in 1978, he went on to act in multiple films predominantly as a comedian. He is famous for his unique body language and dialogue delivery. 

His roles in films like Rajadhi Raja, Apoorva Sagotharargal, Agni Natchathiram and Baasha made him a celebrated actor across the state. 

Janagaraj's performance in 2018's 96 as the gold-hearted watchman was lauded by audience and many netizens had requested him to take up more films. The actor was supposed to work on a film with Suresh Sangaiah, but the status of the project is currently unknown.
